Prison Training Programs help shelter dogs become "move-in" ready
Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter partners with Doggone Express to help shelter dogs become more adoptable!
Doggone Express created Louisiana's first ever prison dog training program called Doggone Express (From the Big House to Your House) which helps Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter by utilizing inmates known as C.A.T.S. (Canine Assessment Training Staff) to train shelter dogs in basic obedience, helping them become more adoptable and preparing them for their new forever homes.
