Jefferson SPCA 2013 Financial Audit Approved by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor
The Jefferson SPCA, in our commitment to Saving the Lives of Homeless Animal being a responsible Animal Welfare Organization, is proud to present our Jefferson SPCA audit for the Fiscal Year 2013. The audit was performed by our areas leader in financial audits, Carr, Riggs & Ingram. Carr, Riggs & Ingram found that there were "No Material Weakness" in the Jefferson SPCA accounting practices.The audit was submitted to and approved by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor.
Bill Haacke, Jefferson SPCA Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Metairie Bank say's "It's a tribute to the volunteers that help save lves by volunteering with the Jefferson SPCA. That helps us have 93% of all funds donated go directly to animals."
