Volunteer with JPAWS

Volunteering is a great way for you to support the Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services, and we appreciate all that our volunteers do for our community and its animals!

For additional information or if you have questions please contact the our volunteer Virat who is handling the volunteer coordination at virat_kapur@outlook.com.

There are lots of ways to help our pets:

  • Walking & Socializing with pets

  • Events/Adoption Events

  • Transporting Animals

  • Fostering

  • And more! If you have a skill that can help our shelter, please email our volunteer coordinator at virat_kapur@outlook.com.

Volunteers age 11-15 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times while volunteering. This parent/guardian must also complete volunteer training.
