Free Spay/Neuter Surgery for Pit Bulls,

Seniors and Active Military

Spay and neuter is free for Jefferson Parish residents that are over 65 years of age, active military (that reside in Jefferson Parish) or for those who own a pit bull or pit bull mix.

 

You'll need a voucher to bring to the appointment to cover the co-pay or have one sent to the vet prior to the surgery date. Follow the instructions on the Canine Spay/Neuter tab and schedule the surgery for your pet and then email Rachel@jeffersonspca.org a copy/picture of your driver's license, your address, your dog's name, the clinic you chose and the appointment date and she will reply to your email with a voucher. You can also pick one up at either location of the animal shelter.
