License & Rabies Tag good for 1 Year

*Dogs must be on a leash

*Cats must be in a carrier

*Licenses issued to Jefferson Parish Residents only

*Rabies vaccination are required by law and are applicable to dogs and cats.

The Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services

(formerly Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter) gives rabies vaccines

one day a week at each location by appointment only when a veterinarian is available.
