Fix-A-Canine Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program

Low Cost Spay/Neuter with a $50.00 Co Payment
is available for Dogs in Jefferson Parish*

Fix-A-Canine is a Low Coast Spay/Neuter Program funded by Jefferson Parish Annual Rabies Licenses. The ultimate goal is to reduce the numbers of Dogs & Puppies that enter our 2 Jefferson Parish Animal Shelters. In 2010, 12,636 animals entered our shelters.

To Participate in the Fix-A-Canine Campaign
     * You must be a Resident of Jefferson Parish
     * Contact any of the participating veterinary clinics and make an appointment mentioning the Fix-A-Canine Program
     * When you bring your dog for the appointment you will pay the copayment  to the Clinic,:
      * $50 CoPayment for all size dogs
     * The Participating Clinic will have a voucher certifing that you are a resident of Jefferson Parish.

Ear Tipping is the universal sign to denote that Stray Cats have been spayed/neutered.
